   How many times do I need to try downloading?? Logging on works Ok but downloads don't even start despite repeated attempts...

   Where did you Logging on ?
   There is no need for logg-in - only DOWNLOAD.
   Or try the mirror link.

   download ok for most activation is hard,need more info is it at all downloads like all so at download.com so may be you PC like IE or Firefox or firewall bad or seting's?

   As graylox said, logging on is not necessary for downloading the giveawayoftheday. I think that's just for posting in this forum.

   I have dl'ed about 20 programs using IE & Ffox. I think if one is having repeated issues or a complete inability to dl from this site, it can often be traced to the user's security program.

   I have Norton Internet Security 2008 on this laptop. I created a rule in the Personal Firewall options to "allow" the program "setup.exe" to run from Giveawayoftheday and I'm able to dl, install, and setup without issue.

   Don't give up or get frustrated and leave. It's well worth it to figure out what settings need to be modified in order to enjoy the gifts on this web site. =)

   gimm you are right like in my Firewall I need to add in settings Trusted sites & name of the site,all so IE & Firefox can go bad with spyware or need a clean.
