   hi goody, each time I try to look at your "other" photos from this link "See More Images By This User" I get "503 Service Unavailable. No server is available to handle this request." I can't see your wallpapers anymore.

   scubaguy, I was the tool-girl but I'm only familiar with this type of tubing bender.

   Last summer we had a problem with chipmunks outside. We were building a garage and had a bunch of friends helping build it. I'd make a crockpot of something like sloppy joes or bbq ham each day. The one day I carried the buns and chips down to the pavilion then went back to the house to get the crockpot. By the time I got back to the pavilion the chipmunks had chewed through the bags and started eating the buns and the chips. It got so bad that we couldn't even have any kind of cookout without them trying to get some food. Hubby put out some sticky traps and rat traps. He caught some but not enough and once in a while squirrels would temporally get stuck and pry themselves off off the sticky traps . We found the traps all over the place with hair stuck to them. So hubby got out a .22 rifle and started popping chipmunks every afternoon. By the end of summer he got over 150 of them and there were still plenty running around. I don't know what this summer will be like.

   maizeydaze - The type that goody showed,you would take a length of soft tubing,like copper and insert the tubing into the tool that looks like a large spring,(goodies pic.it's hollow)and slowly bend it, the tool keeps it from kinking.Same principle as the tools you linked to,only this will give you a much smaller bend radius.

   yep, maizey, that was the intermediate type. these slid inside each other to form a 3-bar pack that was used to route tubing onsite inside cupboards, engine compartments etc. where you couldn't pre-bend the stuff. it also fit where you could only get your hands into. propane hookups, fuel lines. such fun.

   And good morning all.. Happy Easter. I'd better put my southern style green beans on to cook before I forget! Hubby calls that 'computer cooking'.. he's gotten to where he likes 'burnt'!

    copmom, Happy easter to you too! I just finished with poop patrol out in the yard. I'm sure I did not get it all. Every time it warms up more snow melts, revealing more. I'll just have to tell the kiddies, "there are no brown eggs" in the egg hunt. "They are land mines, don't touch!" We are eating at 2PM and it's 11:10AM now. I'm going to have to start peeling taters soon.

    Everyone's due here at 3pm and it's 2pm now. Peeled the taters for those that don't care for potato salad that I made yesterday, ham's in the oven, green beans are cooking, guess I'd better put the taters on to cook before I forget.

    As for poo patrol, the kids always had that 'til they grew up and married! Now hubby just gets it all when he's on the riding mower! Mostly dried up anyhow. Grands will have to just do their egg hunt in back & side yards where the dogs aren't!

    funky..now how's about the full picture?

    Well company's gone, it was a great visit, grands found all their eggs, food all came out good, left-overs put away and kitchen clean.. now to play catch up here.

    Hey.. gotta share something.. boy am I dumb! All along we've had this little gray tabby feral cat that we let in and play with. And oh, by the way, since we've left that beefy red boo boo alone and quit messing with it, it's about healed. Wellllll.. all along I said it was a girl. Today son said, ma, can't you see HIS 'nuts' down there?? I replied it has no weenie down there so I say it's a girl.. he said cats are not built the same as dogs! DUH... so now HIS name is Mr. Meow instead of Meow, Meow!
    It took my son to teach me about anatomy! Gee, wouldn't that make a great 'what is it'? Of course my hubby has been telling me that all along, but who pays attention to their husband?

    Delft? - How was your easter/Purim or whatever hollyday ? I'm trying to sort my old bookmarks and favorites. Did I say sort ? First I have to find them, on a CD or some floppies. Have to find all my photo site favs. Didn't realize, that my IE favs folder is completely empty. Everything is gone - huuuuuaaaaaa

    graylox- you're welcome. i have been in delft, we spent about 3 weeks there over christmas/new years in 1994/95.

    my purim was fun. my daughter had fun dressing as queen esther, or "queen esta" as she has sometimes been saying. she has been spending too much time with my mom and her new yawk accent.

    today we did easter.it was just the two of us, as all family who live nearby are out of town. i hid some large eggs with toys in them for her to find/open/play with in the morning so i could sleep a little later. then she had baskets from me and the ex inlaws. one of her many grandmas asked her, over the phone, if the easter bunny had come and she answered "yes", (pause) "my mommy is the easter bunny". i was so surprised that i started laughing and nodding my head, thereby confirming the fact. oh well. we then went out to brunch and to the children's museum, where they had lots of crafts. we came home and finished decorating the eggs we dyed yesterday and now we are relaxing watching a movie (and obviously i'm typing away, as well).

    all in all, a pretty good day. especially considering it was just the two of us.

    i hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday weekend.

    G#17-I have no idea what that is. A pile of pet hair you are saving to be spun into yarn so you can knit a sweater with it? A furnace filter? Silly string? Fiberglass?

    no, this comes in boxes or rolls, and is a bit slippery, those who use it use a lot. very common indeed- a housewares item.

    although a ball of shed cat hair would be interesting to shoot.

    Furnace filters are many layers deep, this is flat.
