Yep, that it is! From my very own front door.
OK, I admit it, I should leave the pictures to the creative types.

very easy indeed=- dead on, violet. posting only a portion might have got more thought.

i'm still surprised i got it right...you know i'm terrible at these things...
i'm even more surprised that goody didn't ask me what other type of peephole it could be, if not a door...he must have been as sleepy as me...

eerrr, that's exactly how the 4 I installed looked on our doors when they worked?
and that's where I stopped fiddling with it for fear of busting it?
flashback zone from before I escaped to the sticks.
busted some on company time and learned fast. They never ever fit right.

funny thing is, I've never even looked through my front door peephole. it reminded me of a porthole on an old boat.
thanks to goodgotd for the hint - crop it, of course!Posted 16 years ago # -
Hi Vanessa, is that pic a portion of a dryer vent?
Posted 16 years ago # -
hi maizedaze, no not a dryer vent. interesting - i must go and look at my dryer. (sometimes, watching the dryer can be more interesting than watching TV.)
good guess but not remotely close :)Posted 16 years ago # -
Is it a wine glass? Hubby says it is! :)
Posted 16 years ago # -
LOL!!!
Posted 16 years ago # -
closer to a goblet or vase, but stemmed glass.
Posted 16 years ago # -
the challenging thing about coming up with what is its is to find a spot that rarely gets noticed, then crop to enhance it.
Posted 16 years ago # -
in the case of a wine glass, the subject of the last 'what is it', almost no part rarely gets noticed - except, perhaps, the bottom where the wine should be. may the glass always be full.

Vanessa, Fill er' up! Cheers!

hey, everyone, i got a new job today. phew! i was sooooo broke, broadband was next to go. food went days ago.
another 'what am i'. nothing to do with wine glasses this time.Posted 16 years ago # -
Congratz, Vanessa!
My god, you chose your broadband over food! If this happens again let me know. I'll send some sandwiches or something like a loaf of bread and some peanut butter and a bottle of wine to fill your pretty glasses with! :)Is that a roller coaster track?
Posted 16 years ago # -
no, not a roller coaster track.
you might say, though, that it is within cooee of one.
thankyou for your kind offer. if it does eventuate could you make that crunchy peanut butter please?Posted 16 years ago # -
cooee??? What is that word?
Posted 16 years ago # -
it's an Australian word. It's a sound you make, like a loud call, outside in the open to announce your location to the world. But in this case here, cooee means something like 'within earshot'.

Sydney Harbour Bridge.
On the most beautiful harbour in my world.Posted 16 years ago # -
Well, I'll be. I'd certainly love to come and visit there someday. I'm sure there is a ton of things to see.
Posted 16 years ago # -
maybe we can swap.
i'd love to do that someday... house swap, with someone on the opposite side of the globe. i see you're from Pennsylvania USA. far far away from here. have you travelled much in your life?
Posted 16 years ago # -
No, I haven't been out of the states. But, I'd love to travel. My hubby would rather stay at home. So, if you don't mind, he will be here yet, when we swap. He's not much trouble. :)
