   Somehow Windows Notepad seems better, although I'll recommend NVU :)

   Personally for most uses metapad's my choice- including correctinh html ebooks. I replace notepad right after install.

   coding- crimson editor. probably. too much med load to program from scratch, but I still mod th odd file.
