Sorry to sound unintelligent but I'm new to this. Is extract all files the same as unzipping a file. When I'm downloading todays download I get the version that says it will cost me in sixty days. I have done this before with other downloads and got lucky I suppose. It would really help if someone walked me through this download...Thank you so much.

This depends on what utility you are using. WinZip? I will assume so. It will Unzip to a specified folder, typically C:\My Documents and in my documents folder there will be another called Unzipped. In there the files should be accessable. You can use windows as well.. Right click the zip file, open with> Compressed Zip Folders and it will take you through a wizard to extract and view the files. Take a note of the directory but it's typically C:\Documents and Settings\ name etc... Choose to view the files and then find the setup file and off you go. If Winrar, just right click the file and open with, sometimes you can run the exe file from the list but if asked to extract the files, do so as in all cases, without extracting , the .exe files will not find the correct files it needs to run.

Edit: If you are allowing the Zip utility to install, it may not be installing the registry first, then the .exe "set up file" and could be why it's not registered.

Well I proceeded to download it and uninstall it everyway I could. It still says it's a trial. Maybe because I didn't check the replace notepad button. Thanks for your help anyway. Have a nice day. Melinda

Hi Melinda, when you ran the setup, did it access the internet to register the software, FIRST? The actual setup runs after this. Some may be having firewall issues. The firewall may be blocking the registering app from working. Remember, activate first, setup after. Hope this helps a bit. Although it's probably past registering time, sorry for that.
