If somebody is negative and there is some reasoning behind it - or perhaps some evidence they have actually installed and looked at the program then maybe ok. It is better if there is mention as to exactly what feature, option either present, missing or broken then maybe the developer can do something about it.
My "tragic comment of the week" goes to:
LET me tel anyone and ever1 out here, Ccleaner is NO GOOD. Cuz if you compare it with other such PAID softwares, you’d know the difference.
Many people are jumping around merrily with their “ccleaners”, which is of no good.
I replied
From BuBBy: Great Advice. I’m off to uninstall CCleaner. Thanks for your comment.
People started posting that I was being inconsistent, and "How could you?" style posts - so I had to...
UPDATE: To completely explain (to a few posters, below) my above comment “Great Advice” is ironic. I actually mean “Terrible Advice”, but I mistakenly assumed that anyone reading Vman’s comment (including the references and examples that are cited) could determine that for themselves. My apologies.

It seems irony doesn't work (I'm not sure if 73 people 'got it' or not).
But for people who just complain, or complain about complainers - I know what their opinions are worth to me - and it doesn't even amount to a single second of sleep.
Don't feel you have to add to their voice, just ignore it - at the risk of incensing the people who complain about the right to complain... Their comments will probably be squashed.
(Note complaining about the software or GOTD isn't the same as constructive criticism, or useful feedback).
