Oh, I love Tuxpaint, it's really great - not only for children.
I use it very often for making funny pictures out of my photos for my grandchildren. But those kids are much better than I, their fantasy is uncensored.
To OpenSource alternatives - I prefer them mostly to other freeware. But often the description is not very noob-friendly, got many of my gray hairs on Sourceforge net, trying to figure the "what, where, why" out.Posted 16 years ago # -
