I think here will be delay in updates. We are putting game on big portals. But after this we will make Deluxe version which will be available if you have already installed gotd version. So don't uninstall it ;-)

i'll finally be able to catch up with the new versions.
and you don't know how excited i am for the deluxe version, you are awesome for giving us access to it!i started playing version 7 last night, and it might just be me, but robin (my cute, helpful dragon) is not helping as much with watering plants. i usually focus on picking flowers and watering new plants (to upgrade), while letting robin pick up the slack. he's not helping! i almost lost some plants and i was running my butt off (o.k., my clicking finger really). oh- i did start a new game.
anyway- i don't care, i just love to play this game.

btw- i really prefer the flower when the game is loading. it's pretty and makes me think of a magic farm. the ghost is a little creepy.just my opinion.

I just let that little dragon go after the bad guys, he seems to fly right to them.
However, he is not as fast as my clicker finger and bad on watering.
Sometimes I would like to put him in a cage, lol.
Working on V1.7, now I noticed another version. Will finish V1.7 first before moving on!

MemberOK. I think I finally finished version 1.0003. Checking all 4 towns has nobody to talk to now that I won the competition :-). The other 2 guys don't want to talk to me :-(. Now I will download the current version.
About that scroll -1. It could show how many sticks/snail shells/balls one has collected or 2. It could open up and reveal the current quest (in case a person had to go to the hospital or on vacation far away, abducted by aliens- the only reasons I can think of for not playing the game for a while) in case you forgotten.

I hope they fixed the ending in that one! Kind of left me hanging with nothing.
Hope V1.8 answers my question of the dang SCROLL.........I would think it could be used for bringing up, the level up screen!
I really should eat something other than M&M's, lol.

funkymom: your lack of cooperation from Robin is probably due to the level up difference; he is probably not up to the watering faster level. Check the settings on the right side for Robin the next time it appears. (wish the level up screen was on demand, but that may make the game too easy.)
Dobromilka: I think version .007 and/or .008 has a counter for the quest collections. (Although I am not sure where it is since I haven't gotten that far with it yet.)
mamoo & suki: I broke down last night and downloaded an RA eval (guess I am still on "the list" since my eval sign on worked). After playing Oleg's game all week with all the improvements, it made me miss evals too much. So of course due to the install, I lost RA 1.4. Drat. But I really wanted to try out a few on this weeks list AND be ready for the "New New" web page that is supposed to give us drive selection. Hope it is soon. I am one of the loudest complainers about that. NOW you know who I am! LOL!
OLEG: Thank you so much for the opportunity to help you find and develop all the great improvements you made to Magic Farm. It was a real pleasure to play it -- and I wish you SO MUCH LUCK with the major portals -- maybe suki and I will see it on the Real Arcade evaluations soon! We will Definitely give it HIGH MARKS since we got to play it before their limited 60 minutes of evaluation! And thank you for giving us the offer of the deluxe version when it is released. It is very much appreciated!!! There is no way I am going to uninstall Magic Farm at anytime! I love it!

Member@haalam... actually the counter for the collections only shows when you collect the items, a number pops up each time you pick up an item, it's only there for a few seconds so you have to watch.
@iluvchoc... me too, me too. I got to the end and thought....That's it!? It's over? That was a BIG let-down. But then sweet Oleg came through with the added quests.
I gotta go get me some M&M's, I've been eating puffin corn but I have to keep a paper towel next to my left hand to wipe off the cheesy grease. I had to reach way into the bag the other day and it took my concentration just long enough that I didn't notice Robin wasn't watering one of my plants and it died, boo-hoo.
In v1.0008 I noticed that Robin takes a bit longer to react to everything and even after upgrading him he seems to just not go quite as fast as before. Sometimes I wish the days were a bit longer but other times, when the pests are ganging up, I welcome the days end.
Gotta go check out today's game.......then I'l probably play some more MF......I need my "fix".

Games Junkiehaalam: Here is a link to put V1.4 back on! Make sure you take off V2.3 or whatever they are using now for the game site itself.

The first one he posted was to cnet and no longer works. I have an icon on my screen that says Real ArcadeGame underneath, but the icon display says Eval. When I took V2.3 off it was still there, then I re-installed V1.4. They are now two seperate things.
I have a detailed 140 page thread in my inbox from level 2 support if you run into any problems. Though it wasn't much help in trying to get V2.3 to work. It did help in taking it OFF, lmao!!!

MemberSuki: I have an install copy of RA 1.4 that I saved from long before. (actually it is 1.2.1256 or something like that.) But if I uninstall V2.x, I do not see how I could still do evals. When I downloaded an eval the other night, it automatically removed 1.4 and put on the new version.
And yes, an eval download/V2.x install does put the RA Evals icon on the desktop, but that is ONLY a link to the evals webpage. (Look at the "properties" of your icon -- it is more than likely only a web page. When you download an eval, 1.4 will go bye-byes!)
There is (or at least used to be) a way to install 1.4 along with V2.x, but I can not find that post in the RA forum that explains how to do it! Will be searching for it again tonight though. If you know where it is, let me know what the topic name is. I MAY also do a post somewhere and I will mention "M&M's" -- a dead give away to my "other identity". You will either laugh or say "oh, it is HER/HIM." :))))

When I get some time, I will go thru the communications from tier 2 support at RA.
I had to go thru some stuff to get V2.2, which did work, and V2.3 which didn't,off all my machines.
In other words, you might not be getting rid of it just by useing add/remove programs.They had me jumping thru hoops trying to get V2.3 to work, so they explained what to do to get all traces of that version off my machine, including the hidden ones!
Then they told me to download a game and everything should work, NOT, same old same old!I have V1.4 back on all my machines and I download and do Evals with no problem.
Downloading and doing the evals does not delete V1.4 from my machine's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!At first I thought what the heck, as I am no longer a member and don't care for SlowArcade, I will just do the Evals, but Tier 2 was persistent in Emailing me.
I did not delete the link to Eval's, but was able to get rid of V2.3Suki

I found that I was still able to make heaps of money even @ $1.00. I planted all plants (without buying extra plots)and they grew very fast, the cactus provides water into the barrell and there is only the crab to deal with, I assume that is why the plants are cheaper as we have extra ease in the areas I just mentioned.Posted 16 years ago #
