I started a thread under "Software Talks" titled "FileSearchy Pro 1.3 (for searching NAMES & CONTENTS of files & folders)" which today, if I'm NOT logged into the GOTD network, the main forum page displays as 1 week old with 14 posts since last post by XP-Man.
When I go to the thread page itself XP-Man is, indeed, the last of 14 posts since last week.
However, that is not correct. I, myself, have added 2 more replies in the past week (the last one, a repeat of the prior one, was yesterday). I don't know if other users have attempted to add any since no new ones are showing up.
After I log in, the main forum page then changes to display 16 posts (it adds my 2 recent ones), yet STILL displays the thread as 1 week old since last post by XP-Man.
When I go to the thread page itself my 2 recent posts ARE showing up (after XP-Man's) and lists mine as "Posted 1 day ago".
Something's not working right and I think some good conversation post attempts from others (besides myself) may have been "lost" that only they/themselves can see (but only when logged in?) yet no others (the public, including myself) can see to continue the conversation.
Surely I haven't reached a moderator-censor or post-limit since there are other threads with 100's+ of posts and my topic is even more GOTD-software-related than others.
It seems my thread has stopped updating properly, lost momentum and possibly it's audience...
This is really annoying since I thought I had a good semi-hot topic started with good initial responses over the first couple of days.
Has my account somehow fallen under the wheels of the spam filter (but what about other people posting to that thread/topic if they have been trying)? If the spam filter is involved in preventing posts, is there a log that can be read to see what event prompted its actions?
I don't really want to start a new user account as I see some have done as a remedy.
Any way to get all reply attempts properly posted/updated and a permanent fix? Any ideas or help?
