   Installed and activated fine on XP Pro SP3. But when I tried to run it, the screen wobbled and flashed, and wouldn't accept mouse input. This is probably old-hat to some, but I was most gratified to find that right-clicking on the shortcut I'd created, going to Properties tab, and checking the box for "run in 640 x 480 resolution" (or somesuch) seems to have fixed the problems. I went to and from a couple of other games to test it, and all seems well now.

   So yay! I now have a version of this game with a Relaxed mode! Thanks, all!

   A new wrinkle: when I moved the game's shortcut into the desktop folder with the rest of my GOTD games, all the wobbling, flashing, and screen distortion came back. The property settings were the same, just I guess it didn't like being 2 or 3 levels down from the desktop. Then when I put it back on the desktop, same problems. It seems like I have to fiddle with the Properties ==> Compatibility settings each time I start the game, or it goes all wonky on me. I've been having the same problems with all these e-Funsoft games, but no other ones. Strange.

   Yes, definitely. I'd consider updating your graphic drivers just in case. They tend to update them regialrily. If you don't update on at least a three monthly cycle, your drivers will probably be out of date.

   It may also be your native screen resolution that's causing the problem.

   We downloaded to two different brand and age computers. When trying to close the game, both got an "Exception E Invalid Pointer in module AliceGardens.exe at 0000278C. Invalid pointer option" (with OK box). When we clicked OK, the game closed down. One computer didn't save the game. The other did. Someone else said he had this problem in the reviews.
