   They tell me my game is activated but I have no icon or list in programs to click to play the game. What am I doing wrong?

   Nothing! Some games don't give you an icon (like half of them). Most are installed by default (you can change it) in C:\GAMES folder. You have to make your own shortcuts to these games. Like right click and hold down on the exe file and drag it to the desktop and drop. Then select shortcut from the menu. Now you have an icon. <grin>
