I've not posted any free games (apart from temporay ones for the past six months). Technically it's not week 256, but I've decided to carry on where I left of at week 256. It's actually just past the sixth year of the project. I started posting free games September 2008 after it looked like the daily game giveaway wasn't going to return (it was cut short back in April 2008 as the economic crisis hit). Googoo used to post quite a few free games, but his account kept getting cancelled for some reason, and he's not re-registered since around May. I've been too busy with other stuff to continue to find and post freebies.
I felt at one point it seemed pointless carrying the free games project on considering the amount of game sales we see virtually every week and the number of indie bundles that are available all the time, where you can get AAA and good arcade games for virtualy nothing. You can get decent indie games from places like IndieGamestand for as little as a dollar and top games from bundle Stars, Indie Gala, Indioe Royale and of course the Humble Bundles as well as others (details of these can be found in the bundles thread)
Anyway, i cam across the following game in my Steam activities section earlier and tohught it was worth posting here. I may even search out other free games to continue where i left off six months ago. But, no promises. The following game may already have been posted here, can't remeber, so tohught i'd post it anyway. :)
