   I have a faint memory of a game I had come across here a while ago. I'm not sure if it was part of the free games project, or from game.giveawayoftheday.com. I was hoping one of you would remember it, and post it's name here.

   It was a side-scrolling 2.5d adventure game. It definitely seemed more like a child's game.

   There were quite a lot of minigames in it as well. You would walk up to a game console, each console had a different game (one was a small rpg, another was a space shooter). Each of them would give you cash based on how well you did.

   I believe you had to collect stars to progress from level to level, but I may be wrong about the stars. It was also story based, but for the life of me, I can't remember the story.

   Any ideas as to what this game was?

   well, being in a Zen sort of equilibrium of ow, I will point out [in the spirit of misery loves company swirled with that funny feeling you get when suddenly you see right side up through the inversion prisms mixed with 'I Can Tell You How To Find Out, but yer not gonna like it'] that a solution is straightforward, not having a clue which it might be [NOT my bag] to offer you as a simpler solution at this time.

   simply examine the history of one, and then, if not found, the other possible source of the game and if not found- figure out from where else it might have originated- and, honest, that's how I'd have looked myself. have looked myself. more than once even.

   YMMV depending on personality. and patience, at a guess...

   that could fit several Arcade coin-op games, sorta, in addition to in this giveaway's history, far less the flash-in-the-dark offsite game links... I've installed them,.. never played or noted names longer than drawing attention to it to terri. OK, and when she tells me to stomp 'em like a bug to get room.

   Well, FWIW I was curious what would happen if I put "side-scrolling PC adventure game with mini games" [w/out " "] to Google. 1st off you're far from alone in forgetting the name of a game -- that's the first thing I learned. :) The 2nd thing I found is that some of the hits might just work for you, even if only by jogging your memory.
