   I know, this is one of those mass collection of games and I normally don't go for them. However, this one caught my eye and I have ordered it (at 40% discount from the cost at Walmart). I have not received it yet.

   It does not have a good rating at Amazon but those reviews don't seem to have been from people who are very experienced with installations. I know it doesn't truly have 700,000 games but that number may be the number of levels it has.

   From what I have been able to determine from my research and a friend who has received her copy of the game, there are 5 groups of games with 25 - 27 games each. That means 125 to 135 games. Even if I only find about a dozen NEW games, it's worth the price I paid plus the fun I get in figuring out what I have an don't have.

   My problem is no collection like this seems to want to let anybody know what games are included even though they are often all or nothing kind of installs. I want to know what is included so I can uninstall any duplicates involved prior to installation.

   That's my question - can anybody give me a list of what games are included in this DVD? If you don't want to post publicly the list, please PM me and I will give you an email address so you can send me the list that way.

   Please help me! My friend has tried to follow my instructions to check the disk for individual installs but each group only seems to have a setup executable so all the individual games are hidden. Worst case scenario -- can you tell me how to read those setup or install files to find out what is hidden in them?

   Thanks for any help at all. I'm going nuts! (short trip, I know)

   Thanks to anybody who even gave this plea any thought. I was able to get what I needed after a little research this morning. I found out that 7-Zip will read the insides of SOME exe files (not all). I found it will read the installers from Amazon but not those from Gametop or MyRealGames.

   I got my copy today and found 7-Zip could read the various setup.exe files inside. There was a $_Outdir folder inside 4 of the setup command that have 25 - 32 game folders inside. That was the list I needed. A temporary extraction and DOS "Dir" command with a re-direction of the output and then a little editing gave me the lists I needed! I'm a happy camper!

   Now I'm ready to start studying the type of each game and then decide which I have! I'm not ready to install yet. This is part of the fun! I know, I'm crazy!

   Would you be able to post the list of included games so others could see if its something they might want to purchase?

   ditto, would like to know what games are included. There are some older games I'm looking for *mainly puzzles such a sSquarez and several older breakout games from the 90's and early 2000's

   First, it turned out that my little trick with 7-Zip didn't work on one group, "Game Collection". 7-Zip reported only a matter of less than 100 KB for the entire folder but when the installer got to it, there were 15 games! However, that launcher says there are 27 games! There are also 2 duplicates among the 5 groups. The final result is 131 unique games as far as I can tell.

   All appear to be older and most need to run in compatibility mode on my Windows 7 64 bit machine. Many also need to have the ignore high DPI setting flagged. I am just beginning my testing of these games. I'm just flagging the ones I don't want at this time. I'll take care of that later. So far, I've only found ONE that has totally failed - Gems of the Amazon. I'm also just beginning to make the required shortcuts (for the ones I plan to keep).

   Note that the install is an all or nothing for each of the 5 groups. However, the only uninstallers created are the 5 launcher programs for the 5 groups (listed totally randomly as far as I can tell). There are NO install options and it puts it in Program Files (with or without the "(x86)" for 64 bit). But since it doesn't fuss with the registry other than the 5 uninstalls, moving the folder is trivial.

   With this in mind and noting that there may be some typos in the following, here are the games that are included in this package:

   The duplicates (at least by name) are Fairy Tale Quest (in 2nd and 3rd groups above) and Gems of the Amazon (my failure in the 1st and 4th group above).

   All things said and done -- it's not a bad set and I've got loads of fun ahead with testing, creating shortcuts, putting them where they belong and updating my games page of my software spreadsheet! I'm sure to get past 1000 now -- only need 16. :)
