   Thanks for the update Tx.

   Do you get most of your gaming info from Rock Paper Shotgun? I'm going to have to start visiting the site as it always seems to be up to date with gaming news I'm interested in.

   I can appreciate the time and effort that goes into finding and preparing posts for these forums so would like to say a big thanks for taking the time to post details of all the game deals and other game related information over the last year, its very much appreciated

   I used to spend far to much time posting details of deals from across the gaming web over the previous years since the forums opened back in Jan 2006 (well, that was when I registered) rather than playing my games. now I have time to enjoy my games more since you started to post most of the details of deals and other related gaming news. :)

   I was wondering when the third in the Eschalon series was going to be released. Nola from New Zealand bought the first one in the series for me way back in 2008, but when Reflexive arcade was bought out by Amazon early last year I lost the ability to register the game (Reflexive had one of those registration schemes that required you to register via their site every time you reinstalled the game, or if you upgraded your computer. Amazon gave those with Reflexive games six months to re-register their games before shutting down the process. They didn't take into account the fact that once you reinstall you needed to create a new activation code.

   I purchased over 900 games from Reflexive, so you can imagine how furious I was. Most of my games were purchased when arcade games cost $19.99, so that was a lot of money thrown down the drain. Thankfully someone released a activation code generator that enabled me to re-register most of my games. They periodically changed the method of activation, so not all of my games can be re-registered. Eschalon: Book I was one such game. Thankfully Steam sold both of the first two episodes, so I've since purchased them via Steam (probably in the sales, lol)

   I get a lot of good info from rpgwatch but of course this mainly concerns RPGs which is my favorite game genre. The following article from rpgwatch led me to the site. Since the site is dynamic, I always post it as via rpgwatch. I keep dying of hunger in Echelon 2 so I have to go back and play it again, maybe with the hunger option omitted. (:)

   Today Basilisk games officially announced Eschalon Book III.

   Basilisk Games Announces the development of "Eschalon: Book III" For Windows, Macintosh and Linux

   Indianapolis, IN - November 19, 2012 - Basilisk Games, Inc. today officially announced the development of the third and final game in the Eschalon trilogy: Book III.

   “It feels great to be able to announce that we are developing the final game in the Eschalon trilogy” said Thomas Riegsecker, CEO of Basilisk Games. “Although we've never hidden the fact that we've been working on it for some time, we can finally unveil a bit of the game to our fans who have waited so long to hear more about it. Announcing Book III on the fifth year anniversary of Book I’s release just felt appropriate.”

   Eschalon: Book III is being developed for Windows, Macintosh and Linux computers. It features numerous fan requested updates and brings the trilogy to a climatic end.    Most of my main info comes from rockpapershotgun. I spend too much time there reading about games that don't really interest me but the writing is so genuine and well written that I spend less time playing games than my desire. Shacknews is interesting also to peruse. Rpgwatch has a lot of reviews which takes one to a lot of off the wall places with a few discoveries of real gems.

   My New Year resolution is going to be to spend more time playing games and less web surfing, (:)
