   I installed 4 elements game today and all went ok - played the game for a while and exited properly with it saying that it would save the game play. When I went back in I found no game had been saved and it had forgotten me. I saw that the shortcut was set to run in c:\program file which is an admin directory so I tried running as admin but still did not save.
   I uninstalled the game and then re-installed it changing the installation directory to
   c:\users.........app data. again it installed and played OK but still not saving the game. Without game save it is useless and I am guessing the offer will have expired by the time I get an answer here.

   I am running Windows 8.1 and am logged in with an account that has administrator permissions

   In case you didn't already get your answer from the giveaway page, this game has a bug where you can't use the letter 'E' in your profile name. supposedly other letters cause a problem as well, but the only one that seems to get complaints is 'E'. Simple solution- don't use this letter in your profile name. Alternate solution: edit Base\KeyMap.xml to change the E in "Key key="E" script=..." to a different key. Keep in mind that whatever key you replace it with will then be not usable in the profile name.

   Personally I blame my parents - for ending my name with an "e" - it looks as if lower case e's cause this as well as upper case E s

   Thanks for your help - maybe it is a clue to why they gave the game away!

   This problem was covered in the comments section of the game. Thanks QunMang. It's a very popular game that's available from most of the big game distributors including Big Fish and Steam.

   I've checked my versions on Steam and Big Fish and both of them allow all letters, so this problem appears to be particular to the game giveaway of the day.
