When I try to activate MultiSet with the multiset.key it says it is not a valid registry script. Please help.
Thanks, Debbie
MultiSet not a valid registry script

I haven't installed this program, but I do know that a file with a .key extension is not a registry script. You are probably double-clicking on that file, to get that message, yes? Well, the system is simply telling you that you cannot do that with that particular file.
Normally, you will have to do one of two things. Either place the .key file into the install directory of your program, or via the Help menu, perhaps even the Help/Register, you will need to point the program to the .key file, and it will import that information.
Hope this helps.

Debbie,
As Freeware Fan says, and as the Readme file that was in the zipped download also says, copy the multiset.key file into the directory where you installed the program. The default directory is c:\program files\almeza\multiset.
An alternative is to open the multiset.key file with Notepad or a similar program and then copy the Name and Value entries into the appropriate boxes in the registration dialogue box that opens when you first run Multiset (if you haven't already copied the key file into the program directory). It is probably easier to copy the file into the program directory, but at least with the alternative method you get to sey the registration data.Posted 16 years ago #
