I monitored an install of the current version of their Mobile Video 2.0... Direct Show filters were added to the Common Files\ HDX4\ folder. I haven't read of HDX4 stuff causing problems, but it is Direct Show, & therefor it's entirely possible other Direct Show stuff will not like it. If you have problems try renaming or moving the HDX4 folder, bearing in mind that nothing can be using the files inside of it -- otherwise Windows may just alter the registry to accommodate its new location. If everything works after a couple days or weeks, go ahead & delete that folder, or put it back the way it was & try an uninstall, making sure that folder's gone afterwards.
Next to that HDX4 folder is another new folder named OGG. Everything I just said about HDX4 applies here too, with the addition that it can take over anything having to do with OGG audio files. If it causes problems, after moving, renaming, or uninstalling you'll likely have to reinstall whatever software you used to use for OGG files to get things back to the old normal.
Finally there's the Matroska Splitter [MatroskaSplitter.ax] that's added to Windows\ System32 [if you don't see it check SysWOW64]. Your other software may work OK with it, or not. This one's harder because you might have already had a version of the Matroska Splitter installed, possibly elsewhere, e.g. in a program's folder, or it may have partly taken the place of whatever other splitter(s) your system used previously. About all you can do is move or rename that file, & re-install whatever supplied the splitter you used to use -- that's harder than it sounds, because you may not know what software you need to reinstall, so you may have to try several, or try the LAV Filters.
