   It won't even run. I activate, install, etc., and the process seems to go through correctly, but when I hit the shortcut in Start>Programs (or even browse to the .exe and click that), nothing happens. It's not even starting and not responding--it never even begins running (I did it with TaskManager running and the process never started).

   I'm running Vista Home Premium; I've tried running in both normal and XPSP2 compatibility, I've run with and without 'as administrator'.... nothing. I've restarted my computer, thinking maybe it needed that but didn't actually say so... nothing.

   Help?

   I see Vista isn't listed in the system requirements. I don't know much about Vista as I use XP, but I've noticed there is something unusual about the graphics in this game. You could try temporarily changing your screen resolution before running it, especially if you're running in some unusual mode. 1024 x 768 works for me. It might not help, but it shouldn't hurt to try. I can't think of anything else other than perhaps a corrupted file somewhere. Hope you can get it to work.

   I have a Vista and when a program isn't supported I try compatiblity mode for a supported operating system it sometimes works

   As I said, Niloy, I tried using WinXP compatibility (in fact, that was the very first thing I thought of). Best description I can think of for what it's doing is--double click on a blank spot on your desktop. Nothing happens, right? That's what I'm getting. It doesn't even start to process; the compy just says "yeah, you double-clicked. So what?"

   jr46, I'll try the screen-res thing and post a reply. Thanks.

   Edit: I turned on 'run in 256-colors' and 'run in 640x480'; now the screen goes black and attempts to load it. Still doesn't get as far as even a loading screen though. I'll keep playing with it..

   Edit #2: I downloaded direct from Alawar's site, still no love. *shrug* Apparently I'll have to forgo this one :(
