Thanks Hotdog, however, you don't need a promo code if you use the Windows 8 upgrade assistant which you'll find on the official Microsoft Win 8 page HERE (rather than using a secondary link)

For a short while yesterday MS sold a LOT of copies for $15 once word got out that they used the honor system regarding your win7 purchase date etc. & didn't verify anything. Didn't post it while it was live as it seemed like fraud to me. Now it seems you enter your win7 license # & MS verifies when it was activated.
