When trying to unzip GOTD zip files, I get:
“Error 0x80004005: Unspecified error
Setup.gcd”
I cannot extract files with the gcd extension; therefore, cannot install and activate GOTD programs.
Please help.

ModeratorIf you Google you'll see that error message often associated with creating new folders or renaming a folder, & also I think one post mentioned networking issues.
I'd first try making sure you're running the GOTD setup.exe as admin, & maybe making sure that you're signed in as admin. If that doesn't help maybe check the stuff that Google comes up with when you search on that error. Several folks have pointed out that you do need Internet Explorer to be working -- you don't have to use it -- just make sure it's working.
