Unfortunately I frequently like to wipe and reinstall Windows XP on my laptop. I do too much tweaking and messing with software and settings. I think the longest I have had WinXP on my system has been 6 months before I wipe and reinstall.
So, there are a couple of Games that I want to continue playing after my wipe and reinstalls. I found InstallWatch Pro and its sibling InstallRite. You run the setup program through InstallWatch Pro, it monitors the changes and saves them into a database. Then with InstallRite you can take that information and create install kits so you can reinstall the programs.
I haven't actually tried it yet (I haven't had to reinstall yet), but the process is simple. It takes a little longer to get them installed, but I think it will be worth it.
