I agree the freeware section needs a mass updating though. :) So many useful freeware titles around.

I think "Giveaway of the Day" is the best thing since sliced bread and Gore-Tex (I live in rainy Seattle).
However limited their titles might sometimes be, remember "you get what you pay for."Posted 17 years ago # -
Stick to the subject, no reference to Al Gore, warez, crackz or anything else. Subject which is 'i love freeware'
Posted 17 years ago # -
Is Sliced bread or Seattle off topic? (c'mon Lee people were just making a funny side comment - not discussing Al Gore or anthing else...) :\
I love freeware too... (just to stick on topic).

BuBBy,
I LISTEN TO AL GORE RADIO,..'COZ I LOVE AL-GORE-RHYTHM.
Hey, you can quote me today - See how many of your programming buddies avoid you tomorrow.

Well bobby, I can't understand why you're writing about politics in a freeware thread.
There was a mention of words like crackz and warez, so I was just doing my duty.
I would love to write politics, however, I do in a politics thread in another website.

[smiley rolling eyes at terrible pun]
Seriously you just crackz me up.
We could collect listings of other peoples favorite freeware programs

Lee, is wasn't a discussion about politics - it was referring to an old statement Al Gore once made when he overstated his involvement in the creation of the internet
http://www.google.com.au/search?q=al+gore+create+invent+internet
It's a joke. (and it was related to a point that was made in the post)
And then the comment that Al Gore didn't create the internet just spam and warez (which is a major part of the internet) was an attempt at humor in downplaying the area that Al Gore might've contributed.
It was a joke.
It wasn't a political debate - it wasn't an underground discussion advocating the theft of copyrighted materials. It was a humorous aside. There was nothing sinister occurring. Hopefully we will not have to start speaking in code to bypass the forum word filter.
Please don't start deleting posts where people can have a joke, and show their personality and perhaps get to know one another a little better. For 25 years I've been contributing and visiting forums and online communities - and all of the best ones have personality.

ha, just corrected your spelling for you.
There, to their.
See I have a sense of humour also.
ha ha ha ha
Not you, however I read some peoples comments here few days ago and I thought they were writing in tongues.
I'm not a bad man, just worried that this golden egg website might get cracked if when people(s) are googling for some certain keywords, some of the posts appear high up in google results, thats all.
You can keep Al Gore, send Britain 6 magic beans and you can have Bliar (Blair) in exchange.
O.k. 5 magic beans and we shake on it. No take backs!

They *WERE* speaking in tongues.
http://www.giveawayoftheday.com/forums/topic/593?replies=4It's called GERMAN.
(BTW - Australia doesn't want Al Gore or Blair - we have our own collection of bumblers, grab a few while the exchange rate is favourable)

BuBBy I was not making reference to German, I was making reference to a post that the poster thinks library is spelt lybrary.
There you go.
Don't mention the commonwealth bank series!
Posted 17 years ago # -
I won't mention the commonwealth bank series, if you don't mention the Ashes.
I think that makes it a draw. :P
(...and I STILL like freeware).

2005 or 2006-2007?
We have an excuse, the boys were still hung over.

Now it all makes sense. I thought this discussion emanated from Adiemus61's quip on Goretex, [You see how we get confused when we don't see 'EDITED'],...
..which reminds me - HEY ADIEMUS61! NOAH ONLY GOT RAINED ON FOR 40 DAYS AND NIGHTS THAT YEAR, AND GOD MADE HIM BUILD AN ARK BIG ENOUGH TO CARRY 2 OF EVERY CREATURE ON THE PLANET.......GOOD LUCK!!
