   Ive' noticed some of the free software I tried also have a nice discount attached for a supported version.
   Usually I'll test a program on one machine which usally goes past the 24 hr. deadline. The best Flv to video convertor happens to be from Aimersoft. The had a special pricing for GOTD users for a full working version and their DVD ripper for $19.
   Now I have another copy that's supported, to use an another machine.

   I use to use the freeware SuperC but it seems like every new version is a step back.

   For some reason, I couldn't get Aimersoft ripper to work on VOB files--I tried various video files on DVD and as de-crypted file folders on my HD, and the program always seemed to read at least one of the 1Gb files as being absolutely huge.
   I had better luck with the Moyea DVD ripper, though I did notice the sound track gradually tended to become more and more out of sync in the avi versions of some flms.
