   Hello everyone! Today we've started new service - Giveaway Feed Service or simply GFS!

   In this topic we'd like to get some feedback from you. Please report if you've encountered any errors or any other problems using GFS. If you have any suggestions (thoughts) on how to make this service better – we are ready to hear them out!

   -----------------------

   GFS provides you with all the information on the GAOTD software in XML-formatted feed. So, once you've install it, your site will feature fully powered Giveaway Service. It means that your visitors will be able to see all the information about our giveaway titles (even download link to current giveaway) right on your site!

   GFS also provides you with the JavaScript-based method (in case you are unable to use server-side scripts for the data import operations), which allows you to get the information on the current giveaway.

   Hello I am testing the GFS service in http://www.descargagratis.tv/ (spanish site)

   Yesterday worked well, but today not shows the giveaway of the day, only giveaway earlier.

   I am testing the GFS on my website http://www.theinfostrides.com

   I already created a page http://www.theinfostrides.com/giveaway.php and it is working fine but in my error, when GFS loads, I usually receive this error:

   [12-Apr-2011 02:40:57] PHP Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home2/theinfp1/public_html/single.php on line 162
   [12-Apr-2011 02:40:57] PHP Warning: date() expects parameter 2 to be long, string given in /home2/theinfp1/public_html/single.php on line 213

   On the two lines, this is the parameter in question:
   

   <?php echo date("F d, Y", $gaotd->get_timestamp()) ?>

   Please help!

    Hello,
    I installed the GFS - "JavaScript-based" variant on my site. All was fine and suddenly the English index.js stopped work. After code studying, I found two errors in the "download link" tags.
    Here is the existing (http://export.giveawayoftheday.com/index.js) code:

    download_link : "http://files.giveawayoftheday.com/SmartSleep362.zip
    ",
    download_mirror1 : "http://files.giveawayoftheday.com/SmartSleep362.zip
    ",

    Here is corrected one:

    download_link : "http://files.giveawayoftheday.com/SmartSleep362.zip",
    download_mirror1 : "http://files.giveawayoftheday.com/SmartSleep362.zip",

    Corrected file was tested on my website, as a local (index.js) script. All works fine, of course, except the time-down counter.
    Here is the link to the Giveaway of the day page on my site:

    Today, there is the same error in the http://export.giveawayoftheday.com/index.js file, in the line -
    download_mirror1 : "http://files.giveawayoftheday.com/AcroPanoPhotoStitcher.zip
    ",
    So, I've been forced to switch on the local "index.js" again, with the corrected code:
    download_mirror1 : "http://files.giveawayoftheday.com/AcroPanoPhotoStitcher.zip",

    Please help!

    The Links in the XML are not working any more.
    seems like you implemented a new _GET-Parameter = hash
    This is missing in the xml-files.

    please fix this quickly.
