   On September 28, I downloaded and installed Process Lasso under the “Giveaway of the Day” program. But I did not receive the activation code e-mail message that should have followed installation.
   So now every time I boot-up my computer, a box appears on my screen asking me to log into the trial version or enter an activation code? What should I do to get the activation code that should have been e-mailed to me following installation and get rid of this annoying box?

   Thanks in advance for your help.

   You could try and send an email to support@bitsum.com,explaining things and maybe add a screenshot that proves you installed Prolasso on the day of the giveaway. :)
   Btw Prolasso updated to version 6.0.1.42 just now, as promised (1month of free updates)

   The dev seems a pretty nice guy, so hopefully Robert's suggestion will work. If the notice popping up is what bugs you, in Process Lasso maybe set it to not start with Windows?

   For future reference if it helps, the GOTD readme.txt often includes the url when online registration is required -- other times someone will helpfully post it in comments on the GOTD download page... waiting until you get the requested key to install the GOTD makes sure you're not left with a trial. That said, for quite a long while now whenever we've had to wait for an e-mailed key, it's been sent almost instantly -- if I don't receive the e-mail within ~5 minutes I figure that e-mail server blocked it, & request another key using a different e-mail address, one using a different server, e.g. if it's blocked with Roadrunner's e-mail I'll try a gmail address.

   I installed the giveaway and am now getting a request for a registration code. Having been installing giveaways since November 2006, I'm sure I registered the program correctly. I always check to see if a program is registered once I've either inputted a reg code, used the activation module or whichever other method is employed.

   Thankfully, I did purchase two life time licenses a couple of years ago; just can't find the darned things, lol.

   If I could just remember which email I used to purchase the licenses.

   I'm still not sure which of the two programs I prefer, Process Lasso or Avir Task Manager. Been swapping between the two for a few years now.

   If you remember the e-mail address you used when Project Lasso was on GOTD, WR, or only have a relative few so you can try them all, go to https://bitsum.com/support/ & use Reset Password -- looking at the e-mail I got the other day with the GOTD lic. key, seems you're set up with an acct. where you can retrieve your keys. Might even find the 2 older licenses you bought. Just checked my install & it's still registered -- if I remember correctly there was a problem a few years back with the Process Lasso GOTD becoming un-registered.
