    I would like to see Anvi Ultimate Defrag as a give away http://www.anvisoft.com/ultimate-defrag.html. I have missed the latest giveaway on their website. I have tried the trial version and it seems to work well.

    How about a decent scan to PDF app? (to replace HP or other scanner software - which produces bloated PDF files). Irfanview produces good, tight PDFs from scan, but is really unwieldy to use for this specific purpose. Just looking for good, focused app that will produce multi-page PDFs at decent quality and size.

    Age of Empires 3 could be redone. It's been over a year since it was given away here. Or maybe Age of Empires 2, since it has the HD version these days? There were also other very good games, which were given away year(s) ago, like Fallouts, Far Cry, Crysis & Quake 4.

    I can't get enough of the Blu Ray rippers. There is also a photo app similar to lightroom that was here some time ago. Can't recall the name as I lost it in a reinstall.

    I'd like to see Gammadyne's 'Centurion Setup' offered on the site. I know that at least one Gammadyne product has been given away before, and it was then that, by going to their website, I discovered Centurion Setup. I use the free version quite often and, even though I am not a paying customer, their free Tech Support (via e-mail) has always spent the time to answer my questions and find solutions to the (few) issues I've had with the product.

    How about ANYTHING that isn't related to video, photo, or audio? You'd think that that's what 80% of the software out there is, by looking at the offers here.

    And please stop offering the very few non-video/audio/photo related items only on the weekends. It's easy to miss these when I'm away for the weekends.

    Actual suggestions: Computer utilities, games, assistant programs for table-top role-playing games, GPS utilities, personal databases, note-taking software (great for back-to-school!), 2 week subscriptions to online games and other online things (like Office 365), data encryption and other privacy apps, CAD programs, office-related apps and utilities, desktop enhancements... need I go on?

    Not that I expect the ops of this site actually pay attention to this forum thread...

    I can sympathize that it's probably not easy to get anyone to offer anything for free these days, but what's the point of subscribing to this if it's the same programs I have no use for, every day?

    Sorry for the rant. Even a year ago, GotD used to have a lot more useful things on offer.
