   The program "Predator Professional" by Richard Goutorbe at Montpellier-Informatique.com secures your computer by a Removable Device such as an USB.

   PREDATOR locks your PC when you are away, even if your Windows session is still opened. It uses a regular USB flash drive as an access control device, and works as follows: * you insert the USB key * you run PREDATOR (autostart with Windows is possible) * you do your work... * when you're away from your PC, you simply remove the USB flash drive: once it is removed, the keyboard and mouse are disabled and the screen blackens * when you return back to your PC, you put the USB flash drive in place: keyboard and mouse are immediately released, and the display is restored.It's easier and faster than closing your Windows session, since you do not have to retype your password when you return.

   Here are some key features of "PREDATOR":
   · PREDATOR can send alert messages by Email or by SMS
   · PREDATOR can replicate this log on your Twitter account, allowing you to remotely monitor all access-control activity on your PC
   · PREDATOR records all security-related events in a log file: start, alarms, stop. By reading this log, you will know if intruders have tried to use your computer while you have been away.
   · PREDATOR frequently changes the security codes recorded on your USB drive. If an intruder manages to copy your key, this copy will not work because the codes on your own key will have changed in the meantime.
   · PREDATOR disables the Windows task manager when you remove the USB key. Nobody can stop it with Ctrl-Alt-Del or Ctrl-Shift-Esc.
   · PREDATOR lets you regain control of your computer if you lose your key: you set a password that will unlock your session if you lose your key
   · PREDATOR disables the CD Autorun feature in Windows, to prevent intruders from running malware on specially crafted CDs
   · PREDATOR sounds an audible alarm if somebody enters an invalid password
   · PREDATOR supports multiple monitors
   · PREDATOR allows you to protect several PCs with the same key
   · PREDATOR allows you to create several USB keys for the same PC
   · PREDATOR supports Czech, Dutch, English, French, Italian, Portuguese (Brazil), Russian, Simplified Chinese, Spanish, and Turkish

   Requirements:

   · USB Flash disk
   · Windows XP SP3, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, Windows 7, Windows XP x64, Windows Server 2003 x64, Windows Server 2008 x64, Windows Vista 64-bit, or Windows 7 64-bit

   The latest version is 2.3.0.599 and the price is 29.00 USD.    I would love to see DeskShare's WebCam Monitor
   here as i got a laptop for Christmas and my Brother keeps on using it, i want to catch him, also to see if it's as good as it says. I never had a webcam on a laptop before, so i didn't download it the last time it was here. I don't remember it being here, but i would've ignored it anyway, because i didn't have a webcam.

    A while back a Chess game was available. I can't even remember what the name of it was.

    I would like to see Artisteer 2 on offer, I have used the trial version and its very good for what it does. If your into blogger templates for many of the platforms, and you know just how frustrating it can be to get a good template up and running this programme makes it very easy to do. It exports to to Blogger, Joomla, Wordpress and more.

    I have one suggestion - DO NOT PUT JET DEFRAG ON AGAIN!! I have just spent 3 days sorting the damage out and have just gotten my computer back to some sort of normality. I set the defrag over night and in the morning the whole thing had frozen. I tried everything and everytime I rebooted it came back to the same B&W screen and none of the keys it told me to press worked. I am very angry, my macrium reflect copy of my comp had failed and I had to lose everything and restart. And that includes my book I am writing. I they hadn't got get out clauses in their contracts I would be dam well suing them. I have someone else that has happened to as well. So I suggest you don't use that again
