I think GOTD should put some ftp program like CuteFTP Pro or something like that!

I don't know if there is such a thing, but basically I would like a Desktop (preferably VISTA compatible) that "BOXES" all the icons, so for example I could have a box for Games, one for Utilities, one for Microsoft Programs, one for Daily Use programs etc .etc .. at the moment all my icons are kept in different places on the desktop and apart from looking untidy it is getting unmanageable (especially thanks to GGOTD)? I would prefer it that Custom labels can be attached to each box.
Does anyone know about any such program type (free or paid for)?

I would like to see Inca Ball posted again sometime, as I missed it.
However, I would love to see the Super Granny series, Tropix, Turtix, Kenny's Adventures (also called Scuba in Aruba), Natalie Brook's Secrets of Treasure House, Super Cow, Snowy Treasure Hunter 3 (or any), Tumblebugs, Cave Days, Butterfly Escape... to name a few. If you already offered any of these, I'm new to the site so forgive me! I noticed you do sometimes re-post so here's my "wants".

I know a lot of people here don't like screensavers but I found this marine aquarium screensaver that looks just awesome. You get 7 fish and you can select which one's you want or you can go with random. It looks like you are really looking at a fish tank. There are also sharks, goldfish and a time screensaver available which I have not tried yet but if they are anything like the marine aquarium I know I will be very pleased. I think even the people who don't like screensavers might like these just to sit and watch for a while, it's very relaxing. http://www.marinetank.co.nz/index.htm
Thanks for considering...Posted 16 years ago # -

I would love to see an Accounting program. or Budgeting software...
I have not been able to track down a good one yet, which would let you choose your local currency... ( mine is Euro's ) but I would indeed love to be able to make monthly sheets without excel.
Yearly comparison would be nice too. Also, I'd like Nero.... I love the startsmart feature.
Hope you guys know how to find this!
Thank you for trying!

I'd like the game, C&C Renegade. It's an old game created by Westwood (bought by EA Games). It's an shooting game, but very original, as it is also base2base.
For a program, Realbasic can help the just-started program builders, easy to use.

i agree with ender, that looks really cool!
Posted 16 years ago # -
Hey ender and funkymom that's already been given away back in May 2007, so there's always the possibility that it will be repeated. I'm quite into desktop managemrnt toys/applications so would love to see it again as I was actually in hospital when this was given way.

Apparently the unregisterd version will still give you some functionality after the demo time has worn off. I downloaded it and used it for awhile until I reformatted my drives and never got around to reinstalling it.

A couple of utilities that should be easy to find from small vendors:
1) font manager that copes with 10's of 1000's of font files *without* requiring that they all be installed in Windows.
2) a vector to raster converter for generating line art from bitmaps
3) screen background (wallpaper) manager for dual displays
