I tried out the moyea swf to video converter trial version. It does exactly what I need it to do because it can convert swf files that have clickable content. I have tried too many other converters (SUPER, anvsoft, and more) and none of them can do the job that moyea can. I really hope that the program is rerun on this site so that I can convert some of my favorite videos (strong bad email) for a portable media device (ipod). Thanks

FastCrawl is a pretty neat light RPG game. It's a fairly quick game, and looks easy to get into.

I'd like to see GAOTD offering Foxit Pro pack. Foxit free version uses much less memory than PDF X-Change, a similar software (editing pdf files, adding notes, highlights, etc), but Foxit free edition adds an evaluation mark on modified pdf files.

I love all kinds of games, but the games I love the most are search games.
Can you please give away a search game for me?
I mean games where you must find objects in screens with rooms ore landscapes among other objects.
That would be a nice christmas present for me ;-)Posted 17 years ago # -
Hope the IntegryDESK can be given away!

I would absolutely love to have a voice-to-text software (voice recognition) similar to Dragon Speak made available! I have looked through the different offerings in the past and have seen NOTHING like this before.

Not sure this qualifies, but as a huge fan of the now defunct SimEarth, thought I'd throw this one into the ring:

http://totalspore.com/As the release date everso slowly approaches, maybe GAOTD could finagle a free membership or a day pass, anything to give us a leg up on the rungs of the evolutionary ladder?

I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, or even heard of the game, but:
Scrubbles.
http://absolutist.de/kid_games/scrubbles/
I downloaded this from Bigfish Games ages ago; it's a "Snood" type game, but with some little twists. I found it enjoyable, and it's not too difficult to be played by kids. (My mother, in her 60s, is still playing Snood!)
FYI, Snood is another match 3 or more game, where you launch characters up towards layers to match/remove them before a timer advances them downwardPosted 17 years ago # -
I had to find a replacement for Adobe Acrobat Reader, because every time AR tried to auto-update (I couldn't find ANY way to TURN OFF auto-update) it would render my pc useless by using EVERY bit of system resources. And it would try to auto-update every time I used the program so I uninstalled it.
I found PDF2EXE (http://www.pdf2exe.com/) has a find FREE pdf reader that does NOT need to be installed and even works from a external memory stick, and has a much smaller file size and uses way less system resources.
I'm thinking the PAID version would work even better and be a great addition to GAOTD. Thanks for your fine service!
Also try the free Foxit PDF Reader Here

Whizical (actually a one-man developer) has created several very nice graphics programs, and a couple of games, as well:
http://www.whizical.com/index.htmThe one I'm most interested in is Liquib 1.4 (for Windows 98, NT, XP & Vista), which is not a paint program, but rather a special effects editor. It specializes in allowing the user to manipulate images by warping them, applying textures, and manipulating them in ways that some plugins for Photoshop do.
From the website:
Manipulation Tools and Effects can be manually applied to express your creativity with unique transformations. Or you can relax and be entertained by the Automatic Effects feature. Watch as images are contorted, distorted and transmuted by randomly chosen manipulations, always fresh and evolving. Liquib effects can be reflected onto mirroring panels to create Tiles, which can optionally be centered to maximize symmetries. The visual display can be accompanied by music from the Audio Player. Liquib display sequences can be captured to Video, and actions can be Scripted to create choreographed performances of dynamic art, optionally controlled via a MIDI device.
I'm somewhat experienced with digital graphics, including fractals, and downloaded the trial version. I'm crazy about it!

Thanks for the suggestion Ender. I love programs that change the look of your desktop. I checked out the second link and found it has a freeware lite version. Though the full version is only $25 I may buy it if I like the free version as it's only a few more dollars more than an arcade game.

In checking out today's GOTD (SunlitGreen Photo Editor) and following links to what other people suggested, I came across this:
PhotoLine
http://www.pl32.com/...which seems to be once of the most full-featured digital image editing packages I've never heard of, as listed on this rather informative comparison page (another discovery):
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_raster_graphics_editors
Finally, here are links to many useful software comparison pages in Wikipedia which may help point out more software authors for you to consider contacting as GOTD features:
