   In win7 SP1 32, Fix it adds single patch file, looks like it ties into ie9 via win7's app compatibility.

   My understanding is that this is a work-around that's less hassle than the EMET that Microsoft originally suggested [as hotdoge3 orig. posted -- I would have just tacked this on to that thread but I wanted the Fix it notification in the title so people would notice]. Friday the actual hotfix should go live on Microsoft Update.

   Both updates will be delivered through Automatic Updates or can be manually installed.

   Recommendation. Most customers have automatic updating enabled and will not need to take any action because this security update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
