Feedburner's Future?
Looking ahead, the Feedburner API is due to shut down a little more than a month from now — October 20, 2012. Google actually announced that change 16 months ago, in late May 2011.
Beyond Twitter and its blogs, Google also appears to have stopped offering customer support to Feedburner users.

This happened to one of my early email clients called Freeserve. They shut down hundreds of thousands of emails without any warning (I don't remember getting an email). I lost a lot of important emails containing registration details. Thankfully most had been backed up, but some had previously been lost via bad CD/DVD back ups and hard drive failures, so i lost quite a few program registration codes, most of which were digital games plus a few applications. Truth be told, i've not missed most of them. :)
