   HELP!

   Recently when I try to open GAOTD files, I get a message: “Installer payload initialization failed. This is likely due to an incomplete or corrupt downloaded file.
   This is happening repeatedly, and I have missed out on quite a few GAOTD programs I would have liked to use.

   Repeated attempts at download get the same result. Tried two different browsers and two different file unpacking programs, also tried with all antivirus and malware programs turned off.

   Nothing works. Can anyone help?

   Many thanks for the wonderful programs GAOTD provides us. We are fortunate to have them.

   Do you unpack the downloaded zip-file completely to a folder? Or are you trying to run setup out of the zip package?

   Try another file archiver. I know you've tried two, but there are loads of others that are available for free. I've listed several in the Game discussion FAQ's section (which you can find in the Game Discussion stickies). If that doesn't work try rebooting your moden/router, clear out your internet cache and check to see if your provider has been having problems. There may be a problem with the line. (Get your provider to test it).
