There's actually quite a bit of research supporting the old phrase: "Use it or lose it", & that saying applies to mental or intellectual as well as physical pursuits. And from what I've read, when it comes to using a PC/laptop etc., playing games is much better exercise for your brain, vision, reflexes etc. than say posting on Facebook. :)
The same strategy, keeping things like your brain active, applies equally to women & mean I think -- women just maybe tend to keep their brains more active anyway, figuring out why we males do stuff & how to fix it. :)
Everyday in every way, I am getting better and better!!
There is no research about women, because the female brain is far too complicated.
Cool Beans!

I heard that!
.
and I can verify it, lol
Women have brains???!!!!!!????? WOW!!. :)
I have a migraine and I am probably gonna end up in the hospital later tonight. But I HAD to add to this.
"Today’s quote: “Men are born ignorant, not stupid. They are made stupid by education.”
~ Bertrand Russell"
Notice the word "MEN"! All I am gonna say.
Let me add this little ditty, which has been in circulation for a long time:
Women's faults are many...
Men's are only two.....
Everything they say....
and everything they do...
:) LOL!
I'm 72 and have used digital systems since 1964.
Every day I solve 5-10 very hard Sudoku's
So my brain is fit for fight !
Oh BTW: Anybody seen my glasses ?
:-)
@Ben
I play a cool ad free Sudoku called Andoku Sudoku on my cell. Has lots of games..don't get Andoku Sudoku 2 unless you like ads. They are both free. Just search on the Android Play Store for "Andoku Sudoku". Comes in handy in Doctor offices waiting to see the Doc.
BTW, I was correct..Ended up in emergency at the hospital last night around 1:30.
I hope all's well Delenn?
I am OK..just been in a fog for the past 2 months. Been to the hospital 4 times in that time because of my headaches. Can't do anything. My emails are so backed up and trying to set up Win 7 64 bit..It is all driving me crazy. NTM I am trying to beta the game for PushCat and I just can't concentrate enough to play the game. Going back to my neurologist and hopefully they can help.
Delenn, I saw my family doc just yesterday and she was telling me about a couple of patients who died suddenly. It turned out they had an unusual condition where various important blood vessels would spasm and release spontaneously. Both people complained only of severe headaches. While this is probably not the case for you, it might be wise to suggest it to your neurologist. If necessary I can get more information from my doctor for you. She did give more info but I was in severe pain at the time and wasn't able to follow all that she was saying.
Have you considered that it could be some weird Minbari virus?
Good luck young lady!!
Thanks for the concern, pavid. Been a long time since I have been called "young lady".
I have arthritis riddled through my spine and neck and it causes a lot of the headaches. Plus We are figuring out weather affects it too. I seem to get a headache if the weather changes..low pressure and such. But sometimes they just "happen".
Most the time I can take Maxalt RPD wafers and they take care of it. But they are 20 bucks a pill and not covered by my health plan so sometimes I have to end up going to the hospital for a shot.
OR...it just could be a very strange Minbari virus..you never know.
It turned out they had an unusual condition where various important blood vessels would spasm and release spontaneously.
Recently read where some researchers think that's what causes migraines, & brain freezes too when you drink too much that's too cold. It wasn't so much a spasm as contracting or shrinking & expanding, with the same effects to blood flow as stepping on/off a garden hose. Brains do not like that.
Personally I read chocolate helps -- didn't need to hear or read another word. :)
Good luck delenn -- it's Not fun. Years ago when I was in the habit of getting those I used to over medicate till I near passed out, or occasionally did. I cured myself by moving to Florida. :)
There is no research about women no need as they use brain all the time ):-
Men some times use they brain just do it then think take boys do it then think just hope by the time they get 20 think fist do next we hope
