   I am still using this computer for everything except games and no hiccups. I am buying more bundles and doing a lot of downloading,checking out programs, and trying to get organized.Hence, I am ignoring the main problem. (:)

   "How to Configure Windows to Create a Dump File when you get a BSOD Note the discussion about the page file and make changes as needed." Printed out and read.

   Since I will eventually do a clean reinstall, I will probably muck around more in the registry and the drivers and other areas I don't often venture. I have everything backed up and my must have programs on the other computers. Just waiting for the tipping point.

   I spoke too soon. Hiccups started soon after the post.Crashes due to memory conflicts and or memory leakage,Sluggish web browsing and running programs, and a lockup. I am now running a reinstall on this computer. I just installed Microsoft Security Essentials which I might change later and firefox. I had no internet connection until I went to device manager and installed device from Double Driver. I ran Driver Magician auto install and nothing seemed to happen. I didn't read the directions as this reinstall was a Popeye moment. The clean reinstall was a lot faster and and smoother than the reinstall and lose mo data. I thought Win 7 had a generic internet network driver. The printer worked right away without futzing.(messing with) I have most of my hardware drivers on original disc but of course not the network card driver disc. This Zombie computer became a Frankenstein and now is a Humpty Dumpty that I have to put together again, the software. Next on the agenda is Ninite and Steam. Is ninite still the best or has the competition became better?
