   Google's just somebody Apple used to know

   Apple and Google used to be BrosTM. Serious BrosTM. Dr Eric Schmidt was on Apple's board, Google was generally the default on everything, including Maps, Search and Video on the iPhone. Then, Android came along, and they are no longer BrosTM.

   *IF* I remember correctly, once they started to compete in the cell market, some of the folks on Apple's board + big investors etc. started raising eyebrows that Google was learning too many secrets.
