Games GuruThe Flatout series is a superb set of racing games. I was disappointed in the last in the series, but later discovered a totally new team had created it.
apparently the original flatout team are largely responsible for the next Need for Speed game that will be released sometime in the Fall.
For $7.99 its a steal, especially if you don't already own most of the games.
Each of the games has loads of options and mini games included such as demolition derby and some very zany games where you have to crash your car and force the driver to fly through the windshield and hit targets, or do a long or high jump. I used to spend hours with my children playing the second and third games. The first one suffered from poor traction on the race track, so if you crashed it was really hard to get going again without spinning in circles. Still, it was a lot of fun.
For those of you not familiar with this series of racing games; all the cars were destructible and most of the scenery. you could crash and smash most things. In fact the more you destroyed, the better your score. :)
