   Just a quick reality check that goes for any DVD copy/clone app...

   There are some discs where DRM makes an exactly functioning duplicate impossible. OTOH like Many others I've bought DVDs where the only way to get them to play was to make a copy without DRM -- the latest DRM actually creates discs that are broken according to any spec, & not all players can handle that.

   DVDs come in two sizes, the larger with 2 layers -- 1/2 way through the burner/player switches directions. Dual layer discs are more complicated, harder to work with, take longer to burn, & are more expensive. Often you can backup your dual layer DVDs to a single layer blank -- DVDFab can copy just the main movie, or using this WinX app, go for the ISO, mount it, & use DVD Shrink [or the paid versions, Nero Recode] to create a DVD folder with just the main movie & the audio track(s) you want. In many [most?] cases no re-compression needed, since it's often all the extras including added audio tracks that makes a dual layer disc necessary.

   Quick Note: installing to a VM I'm reminded why I prefer DVDFab -- the WinX app adds a CD/DVD mounting driver... Many, Many people have no problems with virtual disc drivers, but many do, & I'm one of them. In the past I've tried deleting that driver, but running the app just reinstalls it.
