   Internet mogul Kim Dotcom has had his extradition hearing postponed until March next year.

   The hearing, which was due to take place in the North Shore District Court in August, has been pushed back until March 2013

   At Dotcom's last court appearance earlier this month, Davison argued his client was entitled to see the evidence US authorities had against him.

   But Crown lawyers said there was no need for Dotcom to see the information because he is not being tried in New Zealand.

   Just pure speculation on my part, I wonder if it wouldn't be to his advantage for his lawyers to partner with the right law firm here in the US. There certainly hasn't been a lot of publicity about it here, & it might well be worthwhile to explore the political aspects given it's such a nasty election year... they've been very low key about the sites & such they have shut down, & the DOJ [Dept. of Justice] in charge of the FBI is ***Very*** political right now. If the current admin thought publicizing their actions would upset a big part of their political base, they might cut a better deal than they would after the election.

   That said, he'd definitely have to hire image & PR consultants, & listen to them. :)
