   Alawar finally put up a new free game for the game box.

   Its only Free for 1 hour then you have to buy the game to get the full version.

   You MUST download and install THROUGH the gamebox to get the game free. That way there is never the 1 hour time limit.

   The Gamebox has one advantage over direct download/installs through the Alawar site. Alawar does not give you a choice of where the games are to be installed. I had one go to the D drive! I complained on that one and they gave me a corrected link. Most go to Program Files which I avoid using if at all possible - especially with games.

   However, Gamebox has options possible that include where to put the downloaded install file, whether or not to delete it after installation and where to put the actual game! Since I've got it set there, I use Gamebox for installs if I can. You will occasionally find a game not available through the gamebox but it is rare.

   However -- special note -- Gamebox is STILL beta. It's been that way for years but it is still not "official". That means there are still bugs and if they can't find a way around a bug, they'll tell you it's "beta" and drop you like a lead banana. That just happened to me after fussing with them for over 2 months!

   They have changed the game! I had to do my flip-flop to get the game but it's there -- It's "Land of Runes". It's not a bad game but I've already got it from MyPlayCity.com.
