It was discovered because it caused a crash on a privately owned laptop, & the lab investigated -- otherwise, assuming it doesn't crash your system, the problem Kaspersky sees with the software is that it's not secure, & could provide an avenue for compromising Windows. And of course there's the part that it behaves like malware, is probably running without your say so, & has the capability to do some serious damage if C&C [Command & Control] ever told it to.
