Has anybody else problems to log in with their Steam account?
I can get the main page of steampowered, but my log in is not accepted.
"...blah-blah.. problem with your internet connection...blah-blah..."
But as you see, I am online.

Try a different browser? Or through the steam client?
Nope.
The client tells me that there is a problem with my internet connection. Trying to log in from the mainpage tells me that my log in is invalid.
All browsers.
Strange.. I did have a 503 error while browsing but a refresh solved that.
What would WR say? Reboot the computer and your router/modem? :)
That would probably be my next step.. Beyond that I'd be worried about the password having been changed, unless you have the account set to send you an email with a confirmation code when you log in from a new location.
I believe Steam has been having some kind of problem for a couple of weeks. The client has been slow and very sluggish and from time to time virtually unresponsive. At the moment I am receiving a -118 error code which is explained as the server may be off-line or I am not connected to the Internet. Firefox is helpfully telling me that Steam is taking too long to respond. No kidding!
Bently, I am almost certain that Whiterabbit would say not to worry, just wait. It's Steam after all. I can say for sure that no amount of computer or router rebooting (CORR) will help regardless of how much CORR blimey the Rabbit spouts. :)
At any rate just be patient. Eventually Steam will decide to fix things.
