The main reason the FBI can’t keep up is because the organization is outnumbered. Not only are there too many hackers around the world, but there are also way too many points of entry given all the companies and government agencies the FBI is interested in protecting.

The Utah Department of Health hack has grown once again, and the FBI is now involved. The latest total is 780,000 victims: 500,000 records and 280,000 Social Security numbers (SSNs) stolen.
The hacktivist collective Anonymous are staging a distributed denial of service attack on the UK Government's Home Office, the Prime Minister's Number 10 and the Ministry of Justice web sites
The following protest message was also posted to two sites:
"Dear Chinese government, you are not infallible, today websites are hacked, tomorrow it will be your vile regime that will fall. So expect us because we do not forgive, never. What you are doing today to your Great People, tomorrow will be inflicted to you. With no mercy," it read.
