Toolwiz makes a free app called Timefreeze -- I don't know if they have anything to do with the Wondershare app of the same name that was on GOTD quite a while ago & that I have installed/use. Nonetheless the Toolwiz version serves the same purpose, when turned on it writes everything to a virtual disk instead of your real hard drive, so all changes can be reversed with a re-boot. It adds a driver to be able to do that, but otherwise installation isn't bad, though since I use the Wondershare version I can't say how well it works, or doesn't.
Toolwiz care is the same sort of PC optimization app that you see all over the place on-line, but includes their Timefreeze functionality as well. At any rate, maybe a few will be interested since every so often someone posts, talking about Returnil, Sandboxie etc... Timefreeze is kinda the same thing.
