Firefox 10 will be skipped!
Postby Moonchild ยป Sun Jan 15, 2012
A heads-up about the upcoming Firefox 10 release:
Pale Moon will skip the version 10 code base, considering the implemented features in Firefox 10 are a (partial) implementation of web developer tools that are of less significance, and it does not yet address the most important issue currently present in Firefox, which is a massive performance issue for animated images.

Waterfox is a straight-up 64-bit build of Mozilla Firefox with no further optimizations or changes. Pale Moon is based on Firefox, but with a number of significant changes. As such, when Mozilla starts building and publishing 64-bit versions of their browser, Waterfox will become redundant; Pale Moon will not.

Some plug-ins have 64-bit support already.

Re: Windows Media Player Plugin Issue
The only plugins that I know are available in x64 versions are Flash, Java, DivX Player, AlternaTIFF, and PDF viewers PDF-Xchange and (unofficial builds of) SumatraPDF; also Silverlight 5 RC is available in x64.
