I downloaded today's free game. I made sure to decline whatever their add-on was. After the game downloaded a program called DownloadIQ (or something like that) continued downloading and then I had to go through 5 different screens declining additional offers I didn't want. Between this and their increase in ad interruptions, I think I'm through with Gamehouse's free games.
Gamehouse has hit a new low (in my opinion)

Terri, that sounds like the "IntelliQ" that JenKat uses. Jenkat has no ads, no hijacking of search engines or home pages but it does force you to "decline" about 5 times before you actually start the REAL download. The initial download is just the stub for the IntelliQ.
I hope that Gamehouse's version at least lets you decide where to install the game, Jenkat doesn't but I have made a formal request to them to allow it. Note - I MOVE the install from Program Files and Program Files\Common Files to where I want it (in one place).

I don't agree with the offers either and they put offers in all the game downloads. It is not only the free game of the day, but all I do is decline them. Money must really be tight for them to do that.

It just gave me the usual choice of one program for speeding up my computer so something. I don't know if it's unusual that it did it to you or unusual that it didn't to me.
