   I like this one and played for a while this morning after installing, without any problems. Now I have come back to it a few hrs later and it opens fine but crashes - screen goes black - every couple of minutes. A lot of folk seem to be having this problem. Any suggestions as I was going to suggest to family and friends to grab it. Lovely game for a family with kids.

   Often people seem to have problems activating a giveaway, but this time it looks as if there might be a bug with the game itself. I see I'm not the only one who finds it crashes
   all the time. Perhaps the developers are going to respond to the feedback and offer a fix?

   It's working fine on my computer, no problems, so I doubt it's a bug in the program. If it seems to working fine on yours except for periodic crashes then go into options on the game's main menu and shut OFF accelerated graphics and custom cursors.
   (When the butterfly next to the option is not shown then the option is turned off.)

   It's likely your video card cannot handle the accelerated graphics; the custom cursors (there's three of them) just aren't needed. I just tested it and there's no noticeable change in game play with both shut off.

   I'm having similar problems with the game. Downloaded, installed, activated and ran fine for a few hours. I shut down the computer for a few hours, come back and tried to play again. Got through one level just fine, started up the next and during that level the game closes. Tried restarting a couple times with the same result. No full computer lock up, the game just closes.

   Custom cursors, 3D accelerator and full screen mode are all turned off. I'm using an ATI video card with updated drivers, and (not sure if it matters) I have no problems running other graphic intensive games. Guess it's also worth noting that I'm running Win XP as my OS.

   If there's a way to fix this game, I'd love to know.

   Hi The game while playing so far has only closed twice on me so it has been very good. Great game to play.

   I am trying in window mode this morning and have had 15 mins so far trouble free. Turning off accelerated graphics did not help, nor did closing down loads of background programs or playing offline. I have a Sis616F graphics card and drivers are upto date. This is not the 1rst game to give me problems and I do not suppose it will be the last. But I love this one and really want to complete it so will keep trying.

   Exactly the same when I returned to it. 4 blackouts in under 5 minutes. Guess I have to give up on this one.

   JoyB: If you haven't already tried it, try turning off the custom cursor as well. With all the options off, it still closes on me from time to time, but it seems that sometimes it'll stay on long enough to make some decent progress.

   I can't seem to find a trigger for what causes the game to shut itself off other than leaving it sitting at any in-between point (the starting screen or speech boxes between levels) seems to kick it off for me. The amount of time seems random, ranging anywhere between a second to a couple minutes.

   If you can get it to stay on long enough to set the changes and hit exit from the game, it should save the changes and possibly stay on after a few loads to let you play. Not much else I can suggest though. :/ It just seems buggy to me.

   And go figure... Get so far along in the game and now stuck because of a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error.

   Disappointing.

    I have never known a game so temperamental. For a while it cut out every couple of minutes. This time I have been playing for over half an hour, loads of stuff in the background. Maybe I will get to complete it after all.

    I tried this download on 2 laptops. On the older one, with a less powerful graphics card, it worked without problems, but on the newer machine, it kept crashing. The only way I could get it to run was to turn off all the options--including 'full screen'. I could then play it, but, of course, most people prefer to play a full screen version.

    Hi Hopefully someone will read this and help me out...I downloaded Flowers story yesterday and everything was perfect and I really love this game. I played it for an hour and then it said that I have to purchase the game because my hour expired is this how it works for this game only 1 hour of game play??? I was wondering if anyone has this same issue and if maybe there's a way to activate the game with a code in order to play this game for an unlimited time???HELP me please becaz this game is really fun!

    I am now finding that if I save the game after each level and play in a window, it works quite well. If it blacks out or closes with errors, the next time I open the game it opens at my last saved level. Frustrating but I at least can hope to complete it. Last night I played for a couple of hours with only 1 crash.

    I'm sorry, but I think you can only activate the full version during the 24 hour giveaway period. After setting up the program, you have to click on the Activate icon, and you'll get a message pop up: Activation successful.
    Otherwise, I'm afraid you'll only get the trial version.

    Had the same problems, but went to the games' website and they have come up with a patch OlegKuznetsov Says:

    no need to uninstall yours, just install this file from that place, now game works just fine, I'm very happy
