I know I've seen it somewhere, but can't seem to find it now. Where is the Freeware Library that has all those great freeware programs, i.e. Revo Installer?
Where's the Library?

The "Freeware" Library no longer exists here - but if you are looking for what is quite perhaps the best selection of user recommended freeware - you should explore "Gizmo's Freeware" at http://www.techsupportalert.com
You should start with the Freeware Lists, Freeware Categories - then their Freeware Forums.
... oh to answer your question about the uninstallers:

BuBBy, thanks for your reply. I haven't been online for a few days (obviously), but appreciate your promptness. Just wondering...why doesn't the Library exist anymore?

I'll guess spam problems. People post links to random sites on the library, and since no one moderates, it gets out of control. Me personally, I'm somewhat glad that it's gone because they got rid of the stupid ad widget on the main page recommending searches through the library.

The giveaway site was marked down as red by WOT for nearly nine months about 3 years ago because of one of the freeware files that had been posted was infected with a virus. It was removed immediately yet the site still remained on red for almost nine months despite myself and others confirming that it had been removed. Which is why I don't trust WOT like I used to when I first discovered it. I feel it's too open to misuse by disgruntled users who may have had a negative experience on a particular site (though not related to spam, malware or anything that could cause harm to a users computer), it may have been an argument on the forums or someone may have commented negatively about something they posted; they then get all of their friends to mark the site down as a problem site and hey presto it's then labeled red and probably stops many people from visiting.
It's similar to the problems we have over in the game giveaway site when someone mentions they have found a virus because their AV software says so, yet in every case so far reported they have been false positives; yet it does stop users from downloading because of the uncertainty. In every case I've investigated download numbers drop by over 50% of what's expected.
Personally I think being able to judge whether a site is safe is up to the individual, usually you can tell whether a site is risky and I always steer clear of those.
I can honestly say I've only ever had one bad malware attack on an old computer (that I know about). I wasn't as savvy over malware and some peoples bad intentions back then. Plus I was looking for something free because I couldn't afford it and thought I wanted it so bad I was willing to get a ripped copy. (Yes I know, not very decent of me, but that was years ago). Anyway, as soon as I'd installed the software and rebooted basically I was screwed. The computer kept flashing some rather nasty pornographic images some adverts then would reboot before I could get into task manager. Again I wasn't as knowledgeable about working around these things by going into safe mode etc. I wouldn't have known how to look and at the time we only had the one computer so I couldn't even access the internet to get help. In the end I had to reformat my disc with the loss of masses of data, game saves and a couple of essays I'd been working on.
I've been careful ever since because it had been costly for me and I learned my lesson with respect to trying to get something for nothing. :)
'scuze the off topic waffle.

Thanks, Guys. Wrabbit, didn't mean to set you off on another tangent. I live with a guy who's famous for going off on another subject/topic/task quicker than a...ahem...rabbit! Sounds as though you have been feeling a bit better for a while. That's great!! :)
