Michelle,
Where do you see that you get Play! 1 and Play! 2 with the deal? Those are listed as "also bought", not as part of the deal.
This 101 games deal are all old Alawar games -- Most of which are available for no cost using such sites as MyPlayCity.com, GameTop.com, FreeGamePick.com and even JenKat.com
All have issues but no ads. Recently MyPlayCity has become extremely aggressive in requiring you to agree to the hijack of homepage, search engine and installs the toolbar without asking but all are fairly easily "reversible".
These games are so old that in a CD like this, it is iffy as to if the install procedure will work. That's even more iffy with the other game CDs you listed.
You get the games in Play 1 & 2 and other games that may not be new, but they should work in compatibility mode. Read the comment on Amazon. I have never got something from amazon that wouldn't work when they said it was going to work.
When I didn't have money to spend I played games for free, but not anymore.
What games cd did I list? I don't have it yet. I have Play! and Play 2! but not this yet. That comment is not by me. I didn't list any games. Just a collection of games and yes some might be old, but does it matter when you don't own them?
I will have it in a couple days and I will let you know if it works. I have Windows 7.
I got the game collection the other day and it does not include all the games from Play! One off the top my head I know is missing is http://www.alawar.com/game/huru-beach-party/
Not to worry that game is a knock off of Beach Party Craze, but overall I am glad I bought it.
Thanks Michelle, Although this collection of games IS available to other coutries as well as the US. It's sold in US dollars, but you can still purchase it via Amazon from most European countries and probably from elsewhere as well.
That said I would be interested in a list of all of the games. Of those listed I have over 90% already, if the rest were time management oriented, I'd not bother, but if theyy are a good eclectic mix of genres and are more that I don't already own, I'd get this package as well as some of the others listed on the page.
p.s.
I've edited the title to remove the only available to US :)
p.p.s.

I've purchased collections like this before (still have a couple on my book shelves) and apart from the ones listed on the front of the box, most of the rest have been dissappointments - little known games that never made it commercially - much like many of the games we get via the game giveaway project, (lol).
Can someone who purchases this deal please post a list of the rest of the games that are included or at least confirm that the ones not listed above are indeed premium games and maybe include some more examples. Thank you.
I actually beta tested several of the games listed above. (for Alawar)
Here is some of them
1001 The Adventures of Sinbad
Action Ball 1 and 2 (though I should mention I had serious problems with Action Ball. I bet the game though really the game would only let me beat half of the boss and continue to the next level. One boss actually fell off the screen)

Thank you Michell that's really kind of you to list all of those games. The original Action Ball was one of my favorite breakouts for some time. As 3D breakouts go it was harder than most for example the Magic Ball series (now known as Smash Ball Frenzy) and the slightly harder Strikeball Series. Virtually all of those games were developed via Alawar, though not all, because I know Hyperspace Invader was created by Pie Eyed Games.
I'd still be tempted to purchase the disc except that I own a lot of them already (though I have given away several of them) and of those I don't own, most are Time Management and Hidden Object games, the former I really don't enjoy playing apart from Farm Frenzy like games and I've played so many HOG's over the last five or so years I'm just tired of them. Even my favorite arcade genre Breakouts doesn't inspire me much these days. I still play a few breakouts such as Ricochet, Reaxxion, Shatter, Acky's XP breakout, and a couple more but not as often as I did a few years ago. I tend to focus more on my bigger games like Left 4 dead, ArmA II, Call of duty, Mafia II and now more recent games like Serious Sam 3, Asassins Creed, Dead Island, The Darkness II and Alan Wake to name jut a few (all on Steam). :)
All that said, the disc is a brilliant deal. considering most of those games were released when arcade games still cost $19.99, That would make the disc worth over $2000 in 2005 prices, wow, when you look at it that way, it's amazing.
I know what you are talking about, because I own most of them too, especially the newer ones like Vampires vs. Zombies. It is still a lot of games even though games went down to
$6.99.
This looks like such a great CD, but is there any way of purchasing it in the UK? It would be a shame if it's only available in the USA, as there are some fantastic games there.
Yes it is available in the UK but you end up paying over twice as much due to shipping and import duty. The price came to USD 53.82 or about $10 cheaper with a longer delivery time. In my opinion if you don't have most of the games that's still a bargain, but for me (who did consider buying it) it's too much as I already own 52 of the games and of those I don't there are probably only several I'd consider buying.
I purchased Play 101 Games for $9.96 from Walmart yesterday. I live in the San Fernando Valley (suburb of Los Angeles, Ca). Although I owned many of the games, I think that it was a great deal for the few games that I didn't already own and to have backup copies for all the games on a single DVD.
