   Thanks Dolores. This is a good game, but I already have it. Here is a review. A walkthrough is also available at the same site.

   When I Bigfish to see if I had this, I also found that they have a sale going on currently. They call it the Spooky Scary Sale and it includes over 70 games for $3.99 apiece. It looks to me like most or all of these are similar to Nightfall Mysteries: AC (hidden object/puzzle type). Many top notch games of this type available including relatively recent Mystery Case File games, Dark Parables games, Echoes of the Past, etc. Details are on the homepage of their site. Offer expires Sunday, January 15th.

   Thanks, Dolores! I got my copy downloaded, installed and "activated" but I've only gone in long enough to check if it will go Windowed (it will - nice sized) and set up my profile. That was fine. However, I let a friend know about it and even with her resolution set at what it expects (1024 X 768), it bombs out with an error trying to set the resolution it shouldn't have to set!

   Looking at the Big Fish forums, her problem is not unique. I found 2 posts from June and July of 2010 with the exact same error. I feel bad that it works for me but not for her. She's heading to their Tech Support on it.

   I just received an email from BigFish saying that I received a punch on my punchcard for "buying" Nightfall Mysteries. I didn't expect this since I haven't been a member for the last 18 months. I also noticed that for every one of the games on sale there will be 3 punches given. If I am reading this correctly, for every 2 games purchased for $3.99 each, enough punches will be earned to get another free game.

   Hi all,
   I've been a BigFish member for ages. The free game was from BigFish FaceBook Like promotion.
   The SPOOKY sale is a Friday 13th sale. If you are a member, each game gets you a "punch" on your card. 6 punches gets you a free game code at the start of next month. 3 punches are only given for the CE (collector edition) games - not these.
   Hope that clears up the punch post.

   Dolores, MarjoryM is right. The punch card notification you received is for 'purchasing" the free game (you purchased it even though you didn't pay for it). Each of the Standard Edition games that are on sale for $3.99 will earn you one punch card credit and you need 6 to get a free game so if you buy 5 more games (whether on sale or not) before the end of January, you will receive a code for a free game which expires in 2 months. You don't have to be a member to get the punch but you do have to be a current member of the BFG Club at the end of the month to get the free game. You are free to cancel your membership after you receive the code and it will still be good. Also if you pay the monthly membership fee of $6.99 you can use that right away to purchase a game which counts toward the 6. Hope that clarifies things.
